English Standard

English Standard focuses on developing your child's analytical, comprehension and persuasion skills, and performance in English. English is a compulsory HSC course: a good result in English is critical for your child to achieve an excellent ATAR and a variety of options for university.
English Standard engages students with complex texts and text types, enhancing their ability to respond in a variety of mediums and utilise language to communicate their intended meaning.
