Our trial program lets you attend one trial lesson per subject per year.
That means if you were in Year 12 (for instance) you could attend one trial group session in each of our subjects: English Standard, English Advanced, Maths Standard, Maths Advanced, Maths Extension 1, Maths Extension 2, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Business Studies and Legal Studies.
Why would I take up a trial?
A trial is an easy way to be confident that you will be able to get ahead with Potentia. At a trial you can check out our leading materials and expert tutors. You can also get a feel for our beautiful hubs which you can use as your new place for study. In short - you can test everything without worrying about being committed or paying anything.
How does the trial lesson work?
Attend a group session to see how we can help you learn. If you love it (and we know you will), you can enrol for the term.
Does contacting us about a trial guarantee a place?
We will contact you about available subjects and times once you contact us and do our best to offer you an option that works for you. If classes are full we do not hold spaces so booking a trial is not a guarantee that a place will be available in the group session you attend. If a class is full we will do our best to offer alternatives that work for you. It is always best to book as quick as you can to avoid missing out.
How many trials can I attend?
You can attend one trial lesson per subject per year. That means if you were in Year 12 (for instance) you could (if you had lots of time!) attend one trial in each of our subjects: English, Math, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Economics, Business Studies and Legal Studies.
Do trials apply to 1:1 or 1:2 tutoring?
Trial lessons do not apply to 1:1 and 1:2 tutoring as these are intensive sessions specifically catering to the student. Trial lessons apply to group sessions only.
Do I get resources at the trial lesson?
You will be given the worksheets and other required material for that lesson. You will not be provided the course book or access to our online learning systems until you enrol.
Do I need to pay before the trial?
Not at all. The trial is obligation free.
